A moving story: a young single woman adopted six sisters in need of a caring family

A few years ago, 32-year-old Lacey Dunkin of Fresno, California, offered her home and heart to six sisters who were in need of a loving family.

The woman claims that the loves of her life are Sophia, 9, the twins Natalie and Melanie, 7, Kaylee, 6, Lea, 4, and Cecily, 2.

Without them, my life would be so dull and uninteresting, as they bring me such happiness and joy, Lacey said to people.

To keep the sisters together, Lacey took extraordinary measures.

In July 2013, after fostering the six girls for over a year, she adopted five of them. Additionally, she made every effort to have Cecily, their youngest daughter, who later joined the family.

In March 2015, Cecily’s family marked her legal adoption with a celebration. Lacey had always desired motherhood but had never wanted to get married.

The mom didn’t even have to ponder when the social worker proposed to foster five kids at once. Adoptive mother: „I didn’t even contemplate not keeping kids.

The girls soon began to feel at home, and their adopted family fell in love with them right away. Jeri and Ronnie Dunkin, Lacey’s parents, are always there for their daughter and take good care of the daughters.
