A woman gives birth to identical triplets who become obstetricians, just like her

Interessante Gerüchte

The arrival of the three girls was a surprise, as there had been no previous cases of triplets in the family.

Dr. Gersten managed the pregnancy gracefully and underwent a cesarean section at 35 weeks to ensure her safety and that of her daughters.

When the girls were eight years old, they witnessed their mother giving birth to a baby.

Sarah was fascinated by her mother’s confidence, Vicky leaned against the wall, and Joanna was distraught.

At that moment, Joanna swore never to become an obstetrician/gynecologist. However, as they grew up, the girls‘ interest in the field blossomed.

Dr. Gersten never pressured her daughters to follow in her footsteps, and they pursued the medical career by their own choice.

In 2017, the triplets completed their medical specializations and joined their mother’s practice.

Interestingly, the girls‘ father, Dr. Robert Bedell, was also a physician and practiced as an obstetrician/gynecologist in southern Florida until his retirement.

He later worked as a palliative care doctor until his passing in 2013.

Now, at 70 years old, Dr. Gersten is proud and grateful to work alongside her daughters.

She considers herself one of the luckiest mothers, appreciating the opportunity to share her profession with her daughters.

The triplets also value the unique bond they share, being part of the same team and trusting each other.

For Vicky, Sarah, and Joanna, their mother is a hero and an eternal inspiration. In a touching post, they expressed their gratitude

for Dr. Gersten’s leadership and described her as a determined person, a role model, a pioneer, and their inspiration forever.

This story exemplifies the strength of family bonds, the power of choice, and the impactful influence a parent can have on their children’s lives.
