Man leaves his own birthday party and jumps into river to save drowning dog

Gabe Castellanos, a New Yorker, was getting ready for his 38th birthday celebration with the intention of having a good time and spending quality time with his family and friends.

But it never occurred to him that he would be lauded as a hero at the end of the day. Regardless, that is exactly what occurred!

It was all peaceful near the East River, where everyone had congregated to celebrate, when passersby began shrieking that something had been observed in the river.

A poor dog was battling to keep her head above water, and things were becoming increasingly difficult. But Gabe, who has always been a kind guy, stepped into action and rescued the day.

The man threw away his clothes and jumped into the water, swimming towards the befuddled dog. Gabe attempted to grasp the poor creature, but she bit him.

However, the guy recognized that the dog’s conduct was due to her fear, so he ignored the pain and continued the rescue until the defenseless dog was brought to safety on the beach.

The dog was eventually reunited with her worried owner as they reached the shore, who couldn’t comprehend how the puppy ended there in the river.

However, it was later discovered that the dog had been taken out by a dog walker who had been involved in a car accident. As a result, the dog became terrified and bolted.
