The little dog made his cuddle round.

It was with a huge smile glued to their lips that the seniors of the Craigielea Care Home retirement home welcomed Milo.

The dog, a real ray of sunshine, jumped from room to room to share moments of sweetness with the residents.

A warm embrace here, a succulent treat there, the day was just as pleasant for the canine.
Besides getting hugs, Milo also played with a few old people.

Those who could even walk him around the neighborhood.

The hairball really made the residents happy.

„You immediately feel the difference when Milo walks through the door,“ said Sheila Inshaw, facility manager.

„Everyone gets up from their chairs, chats, and throws a ball down the halls for him to retrieve.“

It’s great fun for all of our residents, who love it when Milo jumps on their lap for a hug.

His colleague, Jodie Canavan added: It’s been over a year now since Milo’s first visit, and they can’t get enough of him. He is a calm and gentle dog.

According to an article published in the columns of Daily Records on March 8, 2022, the visit of the animal was organized within the framework of the pet therapy program of the residence

The latter tends to encourage boarders to stay active and socialize with others.

Over the years, they have welcomed alpacas and other adorable creatures with open arms.

When he came, Milo particularly helped people with dementia or cognitive disorders.

The dog stimulated them and encouraged them to participate in the activities of the nursing home.

A real breath of fresh air!
