Positive Schwingungen

Jessica Benzakein’s childhood was not easy, as she spent her early years in foster care without any family to guide and support her.

At the age of 12, her caseworker informed her that her mother had terminated her parental rights and asked her about her plan for the future.

She did not have any plans, and her caseworker told her that adoption was not a feasible option for her at her age. Benzakein spent the next six years in foster care until she turned 18 and left for college.

The pain of not having a family only intensified during holidays and special occasions when she had to spend them alone. However, her life changed for the better when she was blessed with two beautiful children and later adopted six boys from two sets of siblings.

Benzakein now has a pack of eight wonderful children and a happy family. She promises to give them the life she never had, and they enjoy hanging out together and having fun. Her family is a safe place where they can make mistakes and laugh together.

Growing up in foster care can be challenging, but it is possible to find happiness and build a family. Benzakein’s story shows that it is never too late to find a loving family and create a happy home.
