The girl was abandoned : the adoptive parents did everything to make her happy

Positive Schwingungen

A well-known dancer, Michaela DePrince has appeared in music videos for Beyoncé, and Madonna, and in the cinematic adaptation of the ballet Coppelia.

She was born on January 6, 1995, in Sierra Leone. Her uncle gave her to an orphanage when she was just three years old after her mother and father both perished from famine.

The kids numbered from one to twenty-seven, with number one denoting the favored kid who got all the love and extra care.

DePrince came in at number 27. She continued by complaining about not having enough food, the best clothes, or being last in line for toys.

They kept telling me I wouldn’t be adopted because no one wants a kid with skin like that, she claimed.

Mikaela DePrince was later adopted by Charles and Elaine DePrince, an American couple who had already lost three children.

Her new mother learns about her daughter’s love of ballet fairly fast.

At Philadelphia’s Rock School of Dance, Elaine enrolled her daughter Michaela in dance lessons. Michaela had just turned five.

She struggled to get over her complexes despite this, and asked her teacher if her vitiligo would make it impossible for her to achieve.

The teacher explained that she had been so focused on watching her dance that she had failed to notice the white patches on her skin.

Millions of young people living in poverty have found inspiration from Michaela DePrince, who exhorts them to never give up, to never give up, and to dream big.
