The most rare and smallest birds name seems to go hand with his overall cuteness

Interessante Gerüchte

So what looked totally natural, even rational, a century ago might now make you laugh.

But here’s a bird that, if it knew it was being mocked, would probably take a poor view of it.

This is a no-nonsense bird that is quite territorial with other birds. Willy Wagtails (Rhipidura leucophry) are, thankfully, fairly sociable with humans.

I’m not sure who came up with the name Willy for this bird, but there is a legitimate reason, as you’ll discover later for the Wagtail portion.

Though it has a goofy moniker by today’s standards, it tends to be associated with the bird’s overall attractiveness aspect.

It’s more of a whole-body motion than a conscious movement of the bird’s tail.

Aside from tail wagging, the bird has highly striking colors.

Their backs and tails, as well as a band on their dazzling white breast, are all black.

Then there are those white „eyebrows“ that make them appear extremely dissatisfied with how amusing their moniker is.

It’s very uncommon for one to get up close to a human or even perch on them to gain a better view position for hunting insects to eat.
